Otter Bickerdike
Dr. Jennifer Otter Bickerdike is a best-selling author, cultural historian, documentary producer and regular BBC radio contributor who has spent more than three decades uncovering the stories behind music, film and popular culture.
A former record label executive, she's worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment, written acclaimed biographies, and appeared in more than 50 documentaries for the BBC, Netflix and Discovery.
But before any of that, she was just a kid growing up in Santa Cruz — a place she still believes is the greatest town in the universe. Return to Santa Carla brings together her lifelong love of storytelling, her passion for preserving cultural history, and the community that inspired one of cinema's most iconic cult films.

Jamison
Newlander
Jamison Newlander is an actor, writer and filmmaker best known to generations of fans as Alan Frog — one half of the legendary Frog Brothers from The Lost Boys. Since helping vampire-proof Santa Carla in 1987, he's built a career spanning film, television, theatre and independent filmmaking, while remaining one of the most beloved figures in the Lost Boys community.
For Jamison, returning to Santa Cruz isn't just about revisiting a film — it's about reconnecting with the place, the people and the memories that helped create a cult classic. Through Return to Santa Carla and One of Us, he's helping build a celebration worthy of the fans, the community and the town where the legend began.
